This is a combination of two small projects from my first year work.The top two images are collage pieces that explore the different styles of typography; the image on the left was created using a black background and newspaper, while the image on the right was created using coloured sugar paper.
The six images below were part of my Ancient Letterforms project - which involved experimenting using a variety of materials and techniques to create a chosen letter from an ancient alphabet.
Some of the techniques used include collage, gouache paint and biro pen.
